Hello units of friendship (I'm trying to mix up my vocabulry).
we had our interviews this week. Our Mission President talked about raising our game and becoming more like disciples and less like Pharisees. It was good. I forgot again the names of those other two cd's that we can listen to. This week we had found a great new person. he is named Orvin. he is very humble and willing to hear what he had to say. On Saturday we met with him over at a member of the church'es home. we found out that the member (Bro. Cecilio) and Orvin work together, so they hit it off rather well. we had a great spirit filled lesson and I felt inspired to commit him to baptism on the 4th of Oct.. he said yes! It was really great. With all solid investigators there comes these random out of nowhere trial(s) that try to get in the way of them getting baptized. Orvin's work called him in at the last minute so he didn't make it to church on Sunday. However, the work go forth boldy nobly and independent and He'll be at church this week. I think it was for the best anyway, that we didn't have to deal with a baptism during General Conference week. Either way God is over all and, despite the battles, God will win the war.
Elder Ludlow is a missionary that lives with me. He just said to me that his mom hates Motorcycles , but he read that she rode one the other day for the very first time. Go and do
